Based on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales, overlooking Cardigan bay, Jonty's work is shaped by a lifelong connection to the sea, surf culture and the landscapes of the coast. Since founding Cardigan in 2011, the practice has grown from a design studio into a multidisciplinary creative practice, bringing together branding, illustration, photography and handcrafted ceramics.

Jonty works with everyone from independent local businesses to internationally recognised brands, creating thoughtful, enduring work rooted in storytelling, craft and a strong sense of place. Clients have included Fjällräven, Finisterre, RNLI, Alpkit, Hilton and Talisker Whisky, alongside charities, community organisations and makers much closer to home.
